Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, is flying out of Seychelles on Thursday evening enroute to Paris. The Minister will be leading a delegation made up of Mr. Manoj Papa, the CEO of Air Seychelles, and Captain David Savy, the Chairman of the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA), to address a meeting with French tour operators in Paris which will be followed by a press conference at the:

Crowne Plaza Paris République
10, Place de la République
75011 Paris, France

Minister St.Ange said that Seychelles had listened to the message delivered by the French tour operators when they met and addressed government representatives and members of the tourism industry in the Seychelles recently.

“We have worked on recommendations our tour operator partners have made. We have been meeting in a series of inter-ministerial meetings under the chairmanship of Vice President Danny Faure. These meetings also include the tourism industry’s association, the SHTA, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industries, the SCCI. Much has already been done since that meeting with the three French tour operators who flew to Seychelles for a day’s meeting. Now it is our turn to fly to Paris and make an announcement based on their recommendations, and this should help Seychelles reclaim its fair share of the France Tourism market,” said the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture.

Seychelles is a founding member of the International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP).
